Our products are shelf-stable and have a shelf life mentioned on each packet. Since we use no preservatives, we recommend storing them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and using them before the best before date for the best flavour.

No, discounts are available to registered users only. Availability of discounts will be displayed on the website or will be informed via email to the registered subscribers
You can browse and order directly from our website at www.salmathechef.com. Register yourself, add your chosen products to the cart, enter your delivery details, select your payment method and confirm your order. It is that straightforward.
We accept both online payments — including UPI, credit cards, and debit cards — as well as Cash on Delivery (COD) for eligible orders. Your available payment options will be shown at checkout.
You can modify or cancel your shop as long as it has not been dispatched yet. Please contact us as soon as possible at cs@salmathechef.com or call us on 091 80173 90509 if you need to make any changes. Once an order is dispatched, we are unable to make modifications.
Yes. You will receive an order confirmation on your registered email as soon as your order is placed. Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a separate notification with your tracking details.

Shipping & Delivery

Yes, we ship our spice blends and masala products across India. Our Cloud Kitchen orders are currently available for delivery within Kolkata only.
Standard shipping across India takes 5 to 7 business days from the date of dispatch. For selected locations within Kolkata, same day delivery is available on orders placed before 2:00 PM on weekdays (Monday to Friday).
Same day delivery is available for selected locations within Kolkata for shop orders only. Same day delivery is not available on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. Orders placed after 2:00 PM or over the weekend will be scheduled for the next available weekday delivery.
Yes, we offer free standard shipping on all shop orders above ₹499 across India. For orders below ₹499, shipping charges will be calculated and shown clearly at checkout.
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a tracking link via email and/or SMS. You can use this to track your shipment in real time. If you face any issues with tracking, contact us and we will help you out.
While we do our best to ensure timely delivery, occasional delays can happen due to logistics or remote locations. We will always keep you informed. If your order is significantly delayed, please reach out to us and we will investigate and resolve it for you.
Cloud Kitchen & Biryani orders

Our cloud kitchen is where we prepare and deliver traditional Kolkata style Biryani, Kebabs, Firni, Burhani — freshly made using our signature handcrafted masala and 100% natural ingredients. Same recipes that millions of people are watching on our YouTube channel are now available to order directly to your door.
Our cloud kitchen currently delivers within Kolkata only. We hope to expand to more cities in the future.
Biryani orders must be placed at least 2 days in advance as every order is freshly prepared. We do not pre-cook or store biryani — it is made fresh specifically for your order.
The minimum order for Biryani is 4 plates. Biryani starts from ₹249 per plate.
Absolutely. Every biryani order is prepared fresh on the day of delivery. We do not pre-cook or store cooked foods. This is non-negotiable for us — it is the only way to deliver the quality and flavour we are known for.

We accept both online payment and UPI payment for cloud kitchen orders. Available payment options will be shown at the time of placing your order.
