Ingredients

Loaf Bread - 1/2 pound
Egg - 3 pcs
Onion - 2 Medium size
Green chili - 2pcs
Black pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt - As per taste

Egg Toast

A very ideal breakfast during rush. Takes only few minutes to prepare. It is very tasty & healthy breakfast.

Pre cooking activities

let's see 2 different Egg toast preparations.
Loaf bread is ideal for making Egg toasts.

First, i will prepare street stall like egg toasts
i will use the side slices for it.
Second, preparation is my own style
will use the mid slice for it.

You can use quater pound loaf bread for toasts making 4 slices from the bread.
serrated (sawtooth) knife is best to cut breads, cut 2 medium size onions in very small squares.
finely chop 2 green chillies
green chilli quantity can vary according to your taste.

Street stall style preparetion

In a mixing bowl, add little less than half of chopped onion
half of the chopped green chillies.
1/5 tsp salt
1/5 tsp black pepper powder & mix them thoroughly.
add 1 egg & mix well.

Toast frying

Heat frying pan on medium - high flame add less than 1 tbsp refined oil
[spread to coat evenly ].
oil is heated, mix & pour the egg mix
place the bread slices, while the egg is still fluid.
After 6-7 seconds of frying, cut the egg layer & turn the slices over
after frying for 8-10 seconds, take the toasts out do not over fry egg toasts
it tastes best, when the egg layer remains soft inside.

My style preparation

Take the remaining chopped onion, remaining chopped green chilies.
salt 1/4 tsp
black pepper powder - 1/4 tsp
mix the ingredients
add 2 eggs.
[Eggs are needed more in this style]

Toast frying

Flame to be at medium here
add little less than 1 tbsp oil
soak the slices in egg
transfer to fry
[Mid portion slices are best for this]
spread the remaining egg mix on top of the bread slices
after about 10-12 seconds, cut the egg layer & turn the slice over
fry this side for another 10-12 seconds
mid portion bread slices makes this toast very soft & tasty
our egg toasts are ready!
sprinkle little black salt & black pepper powder
